Here's a new way to appreciate living in Downtown Bellevue: the Bellevue Art & Park Walk is kicking off this Saturday with a 10K walk through city streets, park trails, and pedestrian pathways with over 20 public art installations to enjoy along the way. There's a scavenger hunt list available for both the 10k and 6K routes. The route includes Bellevue Downtown Park, Meydenbauer Beach Park, Wildwood Park, Bellevue Arts Museum, Bellevue City Hall, King County Regional Library and the Northwest Arts Center.
Art demonstrations will be provided at Northwest Arts Center at the end of walk between 12 noon and 3 p.m. This is an American Volkssport Association-sanctioned walk hosted by the Interlocken Trail Blazers.
The walk is this Saturday, May 22nd from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Parking and pre-walk registration (free) from 8 a.m. to noon at the Northwest Arts Center, 9825 NE 24th Street, Bellevue.
