One Main Street now over 75% Sold

Five more homes have sold in November and December at One Main Street in Downtown Bellevue, bringing us to over 75% sold. There are still 13 homes to choose from, all open one-bedroom and one-bedroom plans. Some homes have large dens and extra bathrooms which make them great for entertaining, home offices or overnight guests.

The City Suite at One Main Street offers efficient, affordable and elegant living, with similar features of our largest homes such as fully tiled bathroom, hardwoods throughout the main living space and air conditioning. The bedroom nook has a wall of closets and room for a desk or dresser next to the bed, and is separated from the main living space by a wall of opaque glass sliders. Tres chic, tres affordable, starting at just $299,900.

Mercato Stellina, Welcome to the Neighborhood

Their website might still say "coming soon," but we can verify: the doors just opened for the new Mercato Stellina at One Main Street Condominiums in Bellevue, which we originally reported about in July.

Stellina is Bellevue's new Italian deli and corner market, located in the retail space formerly occupied by the One Main Street sales office at the southeast corner of the building. It's just a few doors down from the restaurant by the same ownership team, Cantinetta East.

The open hours will be Monday through Saturday, 10:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. (closed Sundays). There's a big communal table to share if you want to eat in, but the focus is on lunchtime and dinnertime take-out: meats, cheeses, Italian wines, fresh pasta and espresso.

Here's a sneak peek:

Garden and Art Lovers Take Note

Bellevue's annual event for lovers of gardening and fine art, Art in the Garden, takes place this weekend at the Bellevue Botanical Garden on Friday and Saturday. This free event combines the gardens in bloom with sculptures and garden art scattered throughout the park. Ciscoe Morris will also make a special appearance Saturday at 1:30 p.m.

Large private patio from home 401
If your love for plants and gardening is being choked out by an overgrowth of yardwork chores, One Main Street Condominiums might have a great compromise for you - our oversized decks are perfect for your green-thumb container gardens. Most homes have private patios that are larger than those found in your average condo. Some are sun-splashed for hot-weather flowers and tomatoes; others are mostly shady for beautiful fern gardens or lettuce.

Our homes and patios are open for your visit, including several model homes, from Saturday through Wednesday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 10000 Main Street, Bellevue. Stop by after you visit the Botanical Garden this weekend. Or call Trisha Quigley, 425.452.6246 for more information.

Here's your first chance to try out the latest venture from the team behind Cantinetta Seattle and Bellevue. This Saturday at the Taste of Main, Mercato Stellina will be offering festival goers a "Bite of Stellina" with a taste of their house-made gnocchi.

The Taste of Main, a benefit for the Children's Response Center, happens this Saturday, August 20th from noon to 5 p.m. on Main Street in Downtown Bellevue. Taste of Main attendees purchase a $40 passport that allows them samples of food, wine, drinks and desserts up and down Main Street, plus special sales and entertainment for adults and children alike. (Children are free with purchase of an adult passport.)

Stellina's booth can be found just east of One Main Street Condominiums, 10000 Main Street, in the courtyard just outside their new retail space which is slated to open this fall.
